Storybook Land

We took Bobby up to Storybook Land in Aberdeen yesterday. Mom is always happy to take visitors to Aberdeen because she gets to go to Target! :) We had a fun time running around all the slides, statues, the carousel rides and basically just running (that's about all that 3 toddlers want to do after an hour and a half in the car!). We fed the goats in the little petting zoo area and walked through Dorothy's house from the Wizard of Oz. They had a dark hallway to walk through with blowing fans to simulate the tornado scene in the movie. Nobody really liked that part! We finished the visit with a train ride though which made everyone happy. Today we enjoyed a nice quiet day in Gettysburg, complete with a visit to the bakery! Tomorrow afternoon we're heading out to Rapid City to stay at a hotel that's connected to a big waterpark and go see Mt. Rushmore and some of the other fun sights out there. Jen, Kevin & Bobby fly home from there on Sunday. I'm not sure we'll know what to do with our quiet house once everyone leaves! (well, Mom & Dad will be busy with their remodeling projects and installing hardwood floors in the office, but Harrison & I sure will miss having our cousins around to play with!)
