Homecoming
Last week was Homecoming week here in Gettysburg. I was very excited that my class was part of the parade (it's been a few years since we did the whole parade thing with Daddy's campaign and I was missing being a part of the action!). The theme of the week was a Superhero's Homecoming and everyone was supposed to dress up as a comic book superhero or a community superhero. I decided (and was suprised that Harrison allowed me to) borrow Harrison's firefighter costume. It was a lot of fun and a gorgeous day!

Harrison's School Debut
Today was a big day for Harrison. After watching me run off to Kindergarten the past couple weeks, he finally got his 1st Day of School moment. He started preschool today. We were all a bit nervous about how he'd do (let's just say he's a little clingy with Mommy sometimes), but he was so excited all this week and he went right in and started talking to his teacher and playing with his friend Carter (or Tarter, according to Harrison....which is okay, because Carter calls Harrison "Parrison" so they are even!)
He is still there now so we'll have to let you know later how it really went! But here are his pictures from before he left (he even let Mom snap one of him without his hat and sunglasses...which most people know he doesn't set foot out of the house without!)

Daddy's Latest Project
Mom and Dad must just crave chaos. Not only do they have 4 small children, but they always want to be destroying something......Take, for example, Dad's latest home improvement project....the living room:

And there's more too....Mom needs to go get some pictures of the other half of that room and the front porch because they demolished those too. Much thanks to Uncle Rick, Luke, Jenna, Papa and Grandma for helping us with taking it all down, and starting to build it back up, or helping Mom take care of us during the midst of it all :)
Wish us luck!
