Hunting season is technically over but Daddy managed to get himself a pheasant this weekend anyway -- those birds aren't the brightest and they tend to go the wrong way when trying to get out of the way of an oncoming car. This one ran straight into our car! Mommy made a comment that she didn't notice it fall and it turns out she was right...when we pulled into town, they had a pheasant hanging off the front of their car!
Mommy & Daddy spent the whole weekend campaigning (attending local events, hanging up road signs, and to quote our friend Jennifer K "kissing hands and shaking babies"). Grandma was very sweet and pretty much had us all weekend long -- we LOVED it! She took us out to see Grandpa while he was clearing out some of his land and we got to ride/drive the tractor. Grandma said Harrison just lit up like a Christmas tree once he hopped up on Grandpa's lap and starting driving and pulling levers! I like to tell everyone that I drove the tractor "all by myself!" What a fun weekend we had!
