Well, somehow the rest of summer slipped away and today was the first day of school! What a big day. Harrison starts Kindergarten and my big girl is already in 2nd Grade! The twins and I are enjoying a quiet day but it sure feels weird without Reagan and Harrison around. Miss them but am so excited for a great year ahead. Harrison was a little apprehensive about starting school over the past few days, but lined up with his class and marched right into school without any trouble or tears (he did forget his sunglasses though....no one will recognize him without them!). Reagan struggled a bit more with drop off. Apparently she enjoyed her time with mom so much this summer that the separation snuck up and attacked those tear ducts pretty aggressively today. Luckily, her teacher wrote and said she was fine within 30 seconds of getting in the classroom and is having a great day. Phew!
