Just a few last photos from 2010. As you know, we are in the midst of yet another remodeling project (as much as they drive us crazy, they somehow also manage to keep Daddy sane....he likes having something that is challenging and yet something where he can actually see progress being made -- not always the case with politics, right?)
Well, a while back, he tore into the front porch which had suffered a little leak and he gutted the place. It's still a construction zone and he's working on putting in some heated tile flooring, dark trim and dark beams on the ceiling, but the difference is amazing and beautiful. Mom is so excited because there will be lots of storage space, room for a second fridge (apparently us kids can go through milk and groceries pretty fast), and even a desk area for scrapbooking (for the day that she always dreams about when she has some free time again!). Anyhow, we forgot a "before" picture of the room still put together and nice looking but here is what it looked like in the midst of demolition:

And now in the midst of rebuilding....

As usual, us big kids were always willing to lend a helping hand. Like, by testing out the new pantry cabinet.....turns out we fit in there pretty well. Peek-a-boo!

Meanwhile, the babies continue to grow up and get more and more independent. They absolutely love feeding themselves, they like having their own utensils and prefer not to have their food cut up anymore (they both threw fits until Mom let them have a whole slice of pizza and they managed just fine with it!). Kennedy however, has taken to some unique hairstyling idea and usually has to try every type of food in her hair before in her mouth....we had to take a picture one night so that we could remember just how messy she can be!

We don't have cars in our basement like we do at the shed, so we gave the babies rides around in their little shopping cart. Mom loves this picture because she has one of me pushing Harrison around in the same shopping cart when he was about the same age as the twins!

We rang in the new year during one of the craziest blizzards we have ever seen. We were supposed to go to a wedding reception of some great friends that night but Mother Nature dumped well over a foot of snow on us all day and all night long and people were getting stuck all over town, so we decided to just stay home. We rang in the new year about 8 oclock before mom and dad put us to bed....

Happy New Year!
