Daddy's Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!
Madison
Kennedy
We had fondue for dinner. The look on my face in this picture of us climbing up to the island to eat captures my definite hesitation about the menu.

All fear disappeared though when we got to the final course and I gladly dipped everything into the chocolate! Harrison was fearless and ate the cheese, the meat and the chocolate (although we did have to do a little encouraging with the chocolate part....what a funny kid). Daddy even assembled the new high chairs this weekend, so the twins were able to be a part of our family Valentine dinner.
We're starting off another week without Daddy and we have one sick mommy and one sick Harrison. Hopefully everyone else stays healthy! The good news is that we are a little over halfway through the legislative session so we can start counting down the days until Daddy is home full time. He's doing a fantastic job down there though. Mom was able to go down for a dinner the other night and (as always) heard such amazing things about him from his colleagues. We miss having him at home but are proud of him and what he is doing. As hard as mom's days at home with us are, she's pretty sure Daddy's are just as long (probably longer), just as busy and full of multitasking, just as stressful and just as rewarding in the end.

Stay tuned this week for my big cheerleading debut. Our little squad is performing at two basketball games and Mom will certainly get pictures and video to share with all of you who cannot make it to see me in person! Happy Valentine's Day! And our parting shot is of the back of little Kenendy's shirt....so cute:
