We didn't necessarily intend for the twins' birthday to be a costume party, but they received dress up clothes from Auntie Amy and decided to put them on immediately and leave them on indefinitely. Luckily, they looked pretty darn cute as Cinderella and Ariel! They absolutely understand the idea of presents and unwrapping them to find the goodies inside. They loved all of their Barbies, prinesses and horses!
We had Grandma, Grandpa, their great grandparents and Uncle Ryan over in the afternoon to celebrate and eat cake with us. Well, we didn't end up sharing the cake. The girls caught sight of it and climbed right up to the table to inspect it. It started as a discreet and subtle swipe of the finger through the frosting to taste. But it quickly progressed into quite a licking frenzy!!!! Unfortunately, we all thought it was so funny that we probably just egged them on with our laughter and picture taking
Luckily, we had cake and cupcakes, so there were some goodies to share with everyone else. As you can see above, there wasn't much that was untouched by the girls!
Kennedy found one of the cupcakes too and proceeded to stage her own little eating contest
