Once again, we are falling behind on updating our blog! Amazing to look at the last post of us all bundled up in our snow gear and now to be posting pictures of beautiful spring weather! We were so lucky to have a very short, very mild winter this year. Amy, Casey and Abbey came to spend Spring Break with us and we actually had spring weather! It was a great visit (far better than the last one when the entire crew got the stomach flu!).
We got out for walks downtown:
Spent an afternoon at the park:
Ate lunch out (there were a lot of kids!...and that was just our table!)
And we took them out to our friend Stuart and Tammy's farm to see a baby calf and get a little bit of a "South Dakota Experience" Casey walked right up and kissed that calf on the nose!
They were very sweet and brought out their two ponies and let all of our kids take a turn going for a ride
And we are continuing our annual St. Patrick's Day celebration together. We dressed in green, ate lots of green foods and helped Daddy make green cookies and cream ice cream....yummy!

We had a little get together that night too and had corned beef, shepherd's pie and more green snacks than we ever thought possible when we started brainstorming them!
It was a fantastic visit and we are so glad they made the trip out to see us. Now we'll start counting down the days to our trip out East to visit everyone this summer!
