Well, Old Man Winter finally decided to pay a visit to South Dakota and he clearly had been saving up for us. We got a huge snowstorm on Wednesday night that dumped over ten inches on our town. We even made the news for getting the most in the state! Our winter has been so mild, though, that we were all excited to see the snow and very happy to get the call that school was cancelled for the day. We broke out all of our snow clothes and headed out to enjoy making snowballs, snow angels and work on some shoveling!
Madison learned how to say SNOWBALL!
Harrison loves to play trucks no matter where he is!Yum!
Putting Harrison to work:
Madison trying to throw a snowball...
Kennedy just like throwing the snow....no need to waste time making into a ball first.
Yesterday there was no school again (that was a scheduled day off for teacher in-service) so we headed down to Pierre to see Daddy in action. Unfortunately there are no pictures of this because Mom ended up sequestered in Daddy's office with two toddlers, but Reagan and Harrison were able to sit at Corey's desk on the Senate floor with him and watch most of session. They loved being a part of Daddy's day and he loved having his kids there with him!
