Daddy's 2nd grade teacher lives on a farm outside of town and invited us kids out to pick pumpkins from their patch. Mommy had to work that night so Daddy & Grandma took us out and we came home with more pumpkins than Mommy knows where to put! The plan this week is to have us paint them....Mommy thinks that might be safer than carving -- but probably just as messy!

On the drive back into town we saw a Harvest Moon...

Pheasant season started this weekend and Daddy got to spend both days this weekend out with Grandpa and some of his aunts and uncles who came to town. He had a great time and we enjoyed visiting with the kids and girls that stayed home. Sunday Grandma kept Harrison for their first Grandma and Harrison day while Mommy and I had a Girls Only/No Boys Allowed day out with some friends. Two of Mommy's friends and their little girls who are my age all went out to shop at a craft fair and grabbed some lunch. We had such a fun time!

One last thing....as you know Election Day is only 2 weeks from tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed that it goes by quickly and of course ends in our favor! The PBS station here in South Dakota offered each of the state legislative candidates 2 minutes of airtime to introduce themselves to voters. They put the segments together into 1 hour shows they aired this month and also have the videos online. Soooo, if you're interested you can watch Daddy:
