Things sure do change when you have 4 kiddos running around this house....back when there were just one or two it seemed we had a lot more time for taking pictures and updating blogs! Then you add a few more people to the mix and there's even more craziness and fun but no time to write about it or document it with pictures! Amy, Abbey and Casey flew out to Gettysburg for a visit during my spring break two weeks ago. We were so excited to see them and we had a fantastic visit with them. A few of the highlights:
Abbey and Harrison came up to school on Tuesday to eat lunch with me...

The snow (briefly) melted from the roads and the weather was warm enough to go for a walk! (we almost looked like our own mini-parade with all the kiddos we had in tow!)

We went to Pierre to play at the Y, but the playground was closed for cleaning due to a kid having a bloody nose in the ballpit that morning (ewww), and the discovery center was closed for 2 weeks for them to build a new exhibit....so we ate Happy Meals and headed over to the lake at the capitol to feed the geese (most of whom have left due to the warmer weather....the day was a bit of a bust, but we still had fun!)

Kennedy decided she kinda liked the hamburger buns and stopped sharing with the geese :)

Thursday was St. Patrick's Day and we woke up to find that a little leprechaun had visited the house and left us all t-shirts. Harrison's said Kiss Me, I'm Irish but he insisted to everyone that all it said was Irish :)

Kennedy is starting to really understand the whole hamming it up for the camera thing....

We made green waffles for breakfast....

Casey's shirt said "Everyone loves an Irish kid." I agree!!! Look how adorable he is!

We got out for walks as often as we could...

We are so glad that Amy was brave enough to fly out here with my cousins and spend the week with us. We all had so much fun and are already trying to plan some sort of family vacation this summer so we can see each other again soon!
